Cookies
What is a cookie?
- A cookie is a small amount of data used to identify you while you're logged into our site.
- We use cookies to store information regarding your shopping cart.
Are cookies safe?
- A cookie cannot be used to extract information from your system.
- A cookie cannot contain a virus because it does not contain programs that can run.
- We don't give your cookie information to other organizations and no one outside PPM has access to it.
To Enable Cookies:
For Internet Explorer 4:
- Click the View button on the top menu bar of your browser.
- Select Internet Options.
- Click on Advanced.
- Scroll down until you see "Cookies".
- Select Always accept cookies.
For Internet Explorer 5, 5.5, and 6:
- Click the Tools button on the top menu bar of your browser.
- Select Internet Options.
- Click on Security.
- Click on the 'Custom Level...' button.
- Scroll down until you see "Cookies".
- Set "Allow cookies that are stored on your computer" to "Enable".
- Set "Allow per-session cookies (not stored)" to "Enable".
Printing Tips
If printed text is being cut off on the right edge of a printed page, try printing landscape.
For Internet Explorer:
- Select the File menu
- Select Page Setup, a dialog box will appear
- Select the landscape print option
- Click OK
- The printed version of the page you are currently viewing will appear in landscape
Printing Backgrounds
If you are using Internet Explorer and would like the site graphics
and backgrounds to show when printing a page follow the instructions below.
- Select the tools, internet options menu (IE 5.x, IE 6) or the view, internet options
- (IE 4.x) Click the advanced tab
- Scroll the list down until you find the "printing" section
- Select the print background colors and images checkbox.
Font Sizes
If the text on the screen word wraps or does not appear on one line you may want to consider changing your computer's font settings.
Browser Font Settings
In Internet Explorer
- Select the view menu, text size menu, smallest.
Desktop Font Settings
To change your desktop font setting:
- Right click on your windows desktop
- Select properties
- Select the settings tab
- Change the font size to small fonts.
